Have started a rebuild of a 74 Bronco. A lot of metal to replace to begin with.

Here is what we started with. Owner started a frame off about 5 years ago. Rebuilt 302, NV4500, Wildhorses 3.5 lift. Has been sitting in a barn past 4 years. Will fix floors first then move the body over to the rotisserie. As far as sheet metal we are installing new floors, inner and outer rockers, fender skirts, 1 inner fender, right quarter panel, both outer fenders, metal hood, and grille. We are also going to redo the frame again and fix some previous damage.

Let's see Bax, we both started on our 66's at the same time. Now building 74's for others. What's up with that. Also I still be using parts off of those 66 doors I got from you.

Well that good, parts are good to have. i can honestly say I have not needed parts from them. I have a brand new set of door strikers foe a 66/67 if you need them.

Got a little done this week. Both inner and outer rockers are welded in. Only we need finish on the floors is to trim the front pans and screwing them into place before welding. The trans cover has a new upper half for the NV4500 that will be screwed into place for easy access.

Also got the James Duff front bumper. Haven't had time to fit it up yet, but this thing is awesome.

I noticed this on you tube the other night while I was searching for Ms bronco restorations. found this one and another where two broncos were pulled across the river in South Ms I think. both good videos. now that I own one, I enjoy keeping up with others working on them as your doing. Gives me hope. Just wish I lived near other seasoned bronco experts that a newbie like myself could have hands on coaching from time to time. :)

Yeah the guy that owns this one lives near Jackson, MS. The majority of what I learned about Broncos was from this site. This site is full of great people that want to share their knowledge of Broncos.

Got a little bit done today. Cut the rear quarters for the Gorilla War Flares. Then load up the Bronco and took it to the frame shop. Having the front frame horns pulled around just a little bit to line up the front body mounts and bumper.

Personally I like the cut look but after learning more about the broncos, I don't think I could cut one if I had of bought one that was original. Looking good either way. What would a set of cut outs go for I wonder? Just courious.

Got the Bronco back from the frame shop yesterday. The left frame horn was slightly bent and the bumper and core support mount were not lining up. Removed the left fender skirt and test fitting the new with the fenders and hood. Starting to take a little shape. The bad thing is putting on and taking off over and over again.

Welded in all the front sheet metal today. Test fitted the front fenders, hood, and grille. Have to do a little more adjustment before everything is lined up just right. Don't worry about the oversize bolts and washers, just test fitting.

Ok, finally back to work on the old girl. Took some time off for training in Huntsville. Got the cage welded up, and bumpers primered. Hope to get the body off the chassis this week if everything goes well.

Got the body off of the frame today and mounted on the rotisserie. Still have to remove the cage, just run out of time today. Feels good to be back working on it again.
