I recently installed a new turn signal switch and a Bronco Script steering wheel which came with a Grant hub. With the hub on the horn honks nonstop. After checking the wiring and removing/reinstalling everything more that I care to mention I think I found the issue. Should there be complete separation of the copper ring on the back of the hub? As shown in the picture there is a small section connecting the two rings. Should I get a scribe and chip that away?
I'd also like someone to confirm that I have the signal cancel properly installed on the hub. The steering wheel I removed was aftermarket as well and used roll pins. My understanding is roll pins could not be used with the Bronco Script steering wheel so I purchased the factory signal cancel. The arrows point to where the roll pins would go.
Thank you,
Jack
