Good pics - looks like a good time and great weather! That water crossing looks like it was fun.

I'll play too. :) Had a great time. The wheeling and weather were both excellent. I got to put some faces to usernames here on the forums.

More pics in my Gallery.

First stop of the day to check out fellow rigs and watch some water crossings. Cool mix of buggies and stockers.

Winner of the Long Distance Award. Propane powered and all fiberglass. I didn't get any more details or talk to the owner much. I'm sure someone else can fill in the gaps.

Fearless trail leader ToddZ in the blue/white. Mr Rags in the white Bronco. We spoke briefly I think, but didn't make the connection to your username here on the forums until I got home. Sorry!

A little roll cage testing! Luckily none of the 4 passengers was hurt. But it was a good reminder of the benefits of a full family cage. They also had all their gear stowed properly. The only thing to fall out was a camera and floor mats. Coolers and tool boxes were strapped down tight.

It wasn't a trail you would expect to roll on, but the edge of the trail was scoured away by recent rains and collapsed under one of their tires. Luckily the fall was only a few feet.

Winches attached and going to work. And finally rubber side down again. Started right up, although smoked pretty badly for the next mile or two.

Yeah the guy with the focus hybrid hadnt finished it all up yet. Didnt get to talk to him but talked to his buddy that built the first focus hybird. So got most of the info from him.

There are a few good stories on the river crossing. There were at least 2 blazers 1 buggy and a F250 that had some issues when we were at the crossing.
All in all it was a good time there was a little confusion on some of the runs a few of us missed our group in that confusion and the show and shine didnt seem to work out as good as usual. Thats where I usually run into people that are on the forum

I almost forgot to thank everyone for the hard work putting the Stampede together. The members of Arizona Classic Bronco do an amazing job on this event; organizing a great dinner, generous raffle and wide range of trail rides.

Oh, and thanks to the vendors who support the event too! Without them I wouldn't have won 2 new drive shafts (Phoenix Rack & Axle) or gift certificates to Affordable Powder Coating and Auto Krafters. ;D

Gary Yortson he's invented many of the things a lot of us have on our Bronco's. A lot are sold through our Bronco vendors, he's also built some great cars that have been in the SEMA show.

They are pretty much street only rigs being 2wd and low to the ground. I dont even know if the one picture was driven there or trailered.

Wife didn't go this year so no good pics to share. Had a friend that had never been on a 4.0 rated trail with me. He was having too much fun to take many pics. Did get a few "after" pics of the scratches I put in the rear quarter. On the way to the raffle I found a guy selling a set of Chucks quarter guards already powdercoated white. It was destiny. I did not win anything this year.:(
Bronco ran great. If I new it would run like that all the time I wouldn't need EFI.
Thanks to all who put this on. Every thing went smooth, the raffle was well run and the vendors came thru again.
