I looked at it and drove it around with John. Super nice guy who has several Broncos. I'm not going to post any pics unless John wants me to. The Stroppe is a little rough, but original and all the proper parts seem to be there.

In my book that's doesn't look rough, it looks about average. Does anyone have an idea of what he's wanting for it?

Well, I think "rough" may have to do with the fact that it's going to need a lot of work, all through it. Nothing looks horrible, but pretty much everything needs attention.

Still, could be a nice canvas for a future work of art, if money is no object for a proper resto. Bonus points for the radio-less dash!

Other than the driver door hinge mounts needing attention you could drive it as is. It started and ran strong. There isn't much left that the bottom driver hinges attach to making the driver door wobble and sag when open. That's probably the worst rust spot and the two spots inside the hood where the inner fenders and vent boxes are is rusted through. Good candidate for a restoration. There is a lot there.

Last of the Pics

That's the last of the pics. I should have gotten some undercarriage shots, but it was not particularly rusty. I hope it finds a happy home.

I talked to John today. Hey techlaf, what does the rear bed/wheelwell section look like?

They look good. It has the vinyl mat so I didn't get a thorough look at the floor, but rear wheel wells looked solid with no obvious rust.

The rust is heaviest at front door posts, inner kick panels, and the inner fender walls inside the engine bay.
