Hey guys, I've been on here for quite a while and finally bought my first EB. I have no idea what direction I will go with it yet. It's a bone stock 170-i6 & 3-speed. Even has some original rubber. 40996 on the odometer.

Nope. It was used in Northern Ontario on farmers fields. Used for towing and plowing. I have the car report on it as well. I was told that there's a possibility that 2 wheels have never been off the truck... That means I'm gonna need at least 10 new studs.:)

Congrats on the find. With that low mileage on it might want to consider restoring it back to original. Its a survivor and a time capsule.

Well it needs floors and rockers... I believe that's part of the yearly maintenance schedule on these things though. I'll fix it up and keep it stock.. But if the bug hits me to start modding, I'll make sure to keep all the original parts... Just in case:)

LOL

Sweet find. If it lived life in the field, I'm sure you'll have lots of rat chewed wires. The things a rat will eat! My wires still have teeth marks, my overflow cap is barely a cap at all thanks to el raton.

Good luck with it all!

Funny you should say that, there are wires hanging down from under the floor where the drivers seat is.:)

I have no idea if broncos were in miles or Kilometers in 1966. I won't have a chance to check till Sunday.

Nice find! I always get excited when I see one of these babies setting in a field or behind a shed. Just ask my wife how many times we have turned around to check out a Bronco while driving the backroads here in the midwest! yeah...she thinks I am crazy! %)

Looks like a fine truck. Must be an interesting shipping story there. The trailer certainly looks up to the job. Are you in the US? Any issues with crossing the border?

No sorry, I'm in Canada. I live in Mississauga, but the truck was 1 hour north of Timmins. So roughly 900kms north. I saw a few for sale in the US, but I just didn't want to deal with the border.

Looks good, in much better condition than mine, as far as I can tell on the body, which in my opinion is the hardest part to work on if you don't have the setup for it.

Congratulations on the purchase, enjoy it!
