first I have to say thanks to Ben "ngabronco" for selling this rig to me!
the truck is a 1966 u14 with a build date of aug. 1965. I'm going to do a frame off restore to as close to stock as possible!
here are some pics as it sits before the tear down. it is overall a solid truck, although it has its problems%) but thats what you get with a 45 year old truck! ill be posting a ton of pics so stay tuned!

Hey berg, save that little gasket around the steering column, I paid $20 for one for the "Horse"!! The firewall changes were for when the PPO put the V8 in with the 6 cyl tranny. That floor mat came out good!!!:cool::cool:

I'll be following you! I have a 66 half cab that was built in September of 65, Im doing all mechanical work on it now. Hope to pull the body off, fix the usual rust spots(floor pans, rockers etc) and get it painted back original color.
Good Luck!

Holy smokes. That's some good progress you're making.
When I pulled up to Ben's I said wheres the 66? It had been there so long it looked so empty with it gone. Glad you have it and that it is getting the proper care it needs.

Did Ben give you the custom rear arm rests??;)
