Did a little work on the rear seats today. Here is a shot of what the bottom of the seat tracks look like. There is a peg on the top right of the picture that is used to locate the seat in the expedition. My bronco already has enough holes in the tub, so I ground it off.
Also, the back mount would interfere with the seat next to it, so I cut it off of both seats. Also reduces the bolt count to 6 per seat. Normally, I'd think 6 is overkill, however, since the seat belts and kid seat mounts are integrated, I think 6 is better than just 4.

I'm figuring on using fender washers above the track and under the bed. Grade 8 is probably more overkill, but 12 bolts and nuts are not going to break the bank.
I've also figure out I'm going to mount the seats with the rear driver's side outside mount about 3" forward of the seat belt mounting hole. This will give me plenty of room for stuff behind the seats as well as enough leg room. The sliders will allow me to gain about 12" of extra room when needed, and the seats fold flat if I've got a bigger load, or just want to leave them down.
For now, I'm going to put this on hold. I need to wire wheel my tub and put down some POR15. Then cover with peel-n-seal(poor man's dynomat) and carpet. Then the seats will go in permanently followed by the interior rear quarter panels.
