I'm bought a 71 in January of this year that had been setting up for a few yrs.
It needed a good bit of work to get it road worthy so i decide to do a frame off.
I have been working on it off and on since January and I'm ready to send the frame off to have it dipped. I'll be updating the thread with pic that will show my progress up to this point.

I'll say something on the mild side

Motor= 302 undecided

Suspension= 3.5" lift, 1' body

Tire= 35" Swamper SSR

Wheel= something in the 17" or 18" range

Soft top and door kit

Undecided on paint color

What are your plans for dipping the frame? Acid dip? Have you thought about galvanizing it instead?

The rear two body mounts need some repair so do i use the washer fix and put washer at all body mount points or just try to fix the two that need repair some other way??

I ordered my lift today. i went with the WH 4.5. still haven't done any thing with frame but hopefully the week after Christmas i will be able to work on it all week
