I looked this up last year and found a step by step but have since misplaced it. Is there a how-to on here? Im only finding info from 5 or 6 years ago and was wondering the easiest way to accomplish this or maybe a new way?

74 LUBR and it will be running 33" tires one day soon. Reason I want to move it back is because the tire is going to contact the forward part of the fender(circled in the pic) even without flexing.

Rear tire/wheel setup in this pic is 15x7 with 31s but its still off the lift in the back. Settled, the 31s may even rub. Are all of the LUBR guys pushing their axles back? 2.5" leafs on there now, 3.5" going on this weekend

And no, Im not cutting it!!

I was running 32/10.50/15 on 8 inch wheels in this pic. BC Bronco liefs (4 inch) and a 2 inch body lift. The inside on the rear fenders were smooth.
Gotta laugh, it has been cut.

how far back does it need to go? I know some places sell leaf spring perches with offset holes that move it back about an inch. I don't know if you can drill a hole 1" back in the stock spring pad?

Nik that set up was 100 percent stock on the rear Ford 9 inch axle. And no frame mount changes either. It is better to be lucky than good.

We just did one a couple weeks back.

simply drill new holes in the spring pad and u-bolt plate 1" back

it centers the rear axle up nicely

When you move the axel back 1 inch do you have to lengthen the driveshaft?

Get the Offroad Design zero leaf blocks. They allow you to move the axle back an inch and a half. Only forty bucks.

Nice to see 10.50s on the rear. Wow that's close!! I may smooth mine out as well. A little "massaging" won't count as cutting right? haha

Had not seen those, cool. Ya maybe 1-2" max

Nice work!

I'm hoping not to but every Bronco seems to be different. Front d/s isn't in yet either so if that one isn't long enough I will wait and make sure the rear is

How it sits now with 3.5" front coils and still on 2.5" rear leafs:
