So i have officially started the tear down on my 1967 Bronco. I got the first official big piece off of it today. Long ways to go, but at least i have started.
Congrats! Looks like a really nice truck. Also, if you haven't already get yourself some ziplock freezer bags with labels and a sharpie and label all the nuts and bolts from the different areas of the truck! Grill Bolts/Clips, Fender Bolts/Clips, etc. Also, don't throw anything away like I did because once you do you will be wanting to use it again. Ask me how I know.
Good Luck with the project! ;D
Nice rig. I'm just curious as to why you're tearing it down. Does it not run? Bad rust issues? Too many people buy one of these things and have the intentions to make it look like some of the other show rigs only to find themselves with a garage full of parts for years. Been there with my 72 and it can be discouraging...
I'm curious too.
Looking forward to your build, stay focused and keep the pics coming.![]()

Lookin good man! Keep it up.
In regard to the bolt kit from JBG, it is definitely worth the money. The reason for keeping the old stuff organized is more about knowing what goes where when you get to reassembly. ;D
Excellent work so far. What's your timeframe for completion?
Okay, now it makes more sense. The floor pans look much like what I faced on my 67. Surprisingly, the bed area looks better than mine though. Good luck with this thing.
Are you still active Chief Master Sergeant? My dad is retired but was the Command Chief Master Sergeant out at Vandenberg AFB about 10 years ago.
