Slowly making it my own ....

Some pics

As purchased (thanks to Tim and Tom)....
Breaking it down
Original interior, engine and such.
Engine getting pretty by me and interior redone by the Amish Millers. I did the back seat myself (no worries) and then tried the fronts and failed miserably and had the Amish Millers pick up after me on the front seats (Thanks Tom)...
Painting the frame, axles and such. Replaced the shocks as well.
A Ford Focus full of Graveyard parts, floors, fenders and such....Focus was packed....
Drive it for the rest of the summer and then continue on..

That thing looks great. Is that the one that Bobby and Andrew had in CA?

Good to see our Amish friends being brought into the Bronco world :)

Sept 2012 updates

Summers almost over so began tearing her down.

Welding 101 complete thanks to Tom. filled 90% of the old soft top, tailgate, cage holes, etc. All welded up.

Body / sheet metal 101 about 50% thanks to Tom again. Still have a couple classes left to graduate ;D

Everyone loves pics and they speak for them self. The first pic with the parking sign is kinda cool. This sign made up my floor pan repairs from the original owner im assuming...

Rear quarter tore down and cleaned up, fitted and ready to weld in place, floor pans, rocker tear down started, etc. Hole bunch of sheet metal work left but she will be pretty when shes done.

Had a great time Saturday working on damage inc. We did quite well in less than 4hrs of messing around. A few more days like that and we will see some positive results.

No pictures of it, but we did fit the new dynacorn quarter panel, and I was very happy with the fit. Just some minimal adjusting to set it with factory results.

Rich, I'm ready for the next round. I love bringing the rare broncos back to life, even better when your helping a friend that has the same passion for them.

More pics coming I'm sure :)

Staying original Poppy Red. Out of the 3 broncos in my garage the family just loves this roadster. Its definitely their favorite. Have to finish this over the winter or my little daughter is going to be upset :( She's already complaining to me that is was nice this weekend and we couldn't take the roadster....

I have been watching first hand on this one. I am in the same 101 class as rich. At least i get to see how these things come apart and i dont have to pay the tab ;D:-X

Like the rest of his broncos, this will look perfect when its done, that i am sure of.

Glad to hear you're keeping it poppy red! that is going to be a very sweet ride when it's done. I'm looking forward to seeing it in the spring.
