4bt install... Need advice on auto trans choice.

I have a 77 that I bought specifically to use with my 4bt. The only issue I'm having at the moment is choosing which auto trans to go with. The wheelbase really limits choices quickly. I have a np205 currently in it behind the c4. I also have the turbo 400 from the Grumman. Then I also have a 47re. They are all longer than the c4. What trans have others used with success behind their 4bt. I'm really excited to play with this little motor. I was pretty serious in the diesel racing community for years. This is one of the more rare 4bt's with the Bosch inline pump.

Has anyone successfully ran a 4bt/np205/turbo 400 combo in an early bronco?

All help is appreciated.

I'm still trying to see if others have made an overdrive auto trans work in one. I want to get started, but need a definite gameplan first.

When I was collecting information for my swap I copied from somewhere
"47RH from Dodge and get an NP241. Just go to a yard and snag everything from behind the block of a 6Bt with an auto"

I am not sure who posted this or if it even fits. I went with a manual so I never looked any further. Good luck

The 47's with transfer case are about 11" longer than the c4/205 I currently have. I just want to make a good choice to begin with.
