I have been holding on to this for too long.
I have a 2004 Mustang Mach 1 complete engine (minus A/C compressor) that has less than 1500 miles on it (no I'm not kidding).
It has been stored in a climate controlled garage. I was saving it for a resto-mod project (perhaps a 60's mustang or Fairlane) but my other toys have taken priortiy.
I'm not sure if anyone here would be interested, but I thought I'd post here first before Craigslist or Ebay.
For those who don't know, the 4.6L Mach 1 engine is a 4.6L 32valve all aluminum engine. It was set up to have a functional shaker scoop and all the brackets are in place if you ever want add one. One thing to note, the Mach 1 like the Cobra has a Forged crankshaft and while only rated at 305HP it has lots of potential for improvement if desired.
Guys have put these into Bronco's though I know it isn't a "drop" in project.
The 2001 Cobra, 2003-4 Mercury Marauder, 2003-2004 Mustang Mach 1 and the 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator (Explorer) all used this engine.
I also have a Tremec 5 speed manual (T3650) that is from my 2005 Mustang. It was removed from my garage queen 2005 convertible with only 8000 miles on it. I was going to mate the two together in the resto-mod car but like I mentioned it isn't going to happen.
(Trans is not included in the price)
I'm asking another $650 for the trans.
PM me if interested.
Willing to accept offers for both.
Local pick up only please.
