*****LAST DAY TO MAKE YOUR ORDER FOR THE MASS BUY IS FRIDAY JANUARY 10TH. IF YOU STILL WANT TO PARTICIPATE, PLEASE MAKE YOUR PURCHASE BY THIS DATE OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE GROUP BUY DISCOUNT*****

This post is for a group mass buy on the USShift Quick 1 electonic transmission controller for the 4R70W transmission. USShift is the new product line owned by Baumann Electronics and produces the Quick 1 Controller. This was originally the Baumann Optishift, the Quick is identical to the Optishift with the only difference being the label on the front of the controller. See the below website for more information on the controller.

http://usshift.com/

I spoke with Kevin at Baumann and set up a group mass buy with a minimum order of 6 Controllers. The controller is regularly $425 plus $160 for the harness, and I was told shipping shouldn't be more than $15. The discounts he offered are as follows:

# of Buyers Discount
6-10 $75 off
11-15 $100 off
16-20 $125 off
20+ $150 off

Several have posted that they are only interested if the discount reaches $150, I will see if I can work on Kevin to reduce the number needed to get the $150 discount. I was told by Kevin that $150 is the maximum discount available. The cut off for those participating in the mass buy will be November 30th. Once the deadline has passed, all those participating in the mass buy will contact Baumann directly and place their individual orders referencing the mass buy. Baumann will need specs from each buyer as to their specific needs (efi/carb, year of tranny, ect). Each buyer will be responsible for payment directly to Baumann. Per Baumann, orders will take no more than 5 days to fill.

The following is a list of interested buyers that I will continue to update. If you are not serious about participating in the buy please do not waste everyone's time. If you are on the list and change your mind, could you please put up a post opting out so we can keep list and count current.

count me in too. Just talked to Kevin @ Baumann re: differences in the harness for different years of the 4R70W. He was very helpful. I have a '96 core sitting in my shop and a running '98 w/ 115K in my V8 explorer. Will be ordering a harness for a '98+........

No problem. 5 more gets us to the full discount. Does anyone have any contacts that may be members in a classic mustang forum. I think we could get a few more buyers by getting the word out forum like this for mustangs.

Is this thing still on?? I'm in and ready to go. Thanks, Jeff

Yes it is still going on if you can wait until November 30th to buy your controller. If we get another few buyers, we will reach the max discount and can probably move the final purchase date up a week or two.

That'll probably work, sooner the better for me... Thanks for putting this together. If you don't hear from me, shoot me a private message so my email will pick it up. I'm on here kind of sporadically. Thanks, Jeff

Let me know, I am planning a Coyote swap and I need a stand alone harness for my 4r70w.
