April 5th,2014!!!! It's that time again folks! We are having our meet and greet...this time with a twist. For the first time, we will be joining the Uwharrie OHV Jamboree. This should turn out to be a great day!! This will be the jamboree's 3rd year. There will be RTI ramp, 4x4 games, and events. There will also be 4x4 vendors. Admission and parking is free.

We have held our event at Dennis Carpenters for past years, this year we thought we would change it up a bit. Please come out, meet some new people, talk with some friends, and check out the broncos and the jamboree.

This event will be located right across the street from the Eldorado Outpost on hwy 109. Some of us are planning to arrive Fri April 4th, and stay until Sun April 6th. You will be allowed to camp at the jamboree for free...however, it will be primitive only. We plan to camp at Arrowhead. Camp sites at Arrowhead may fill fast, i suggest reserving a site soon.

We will be running on jamboree's time schedule...i think it opens at 8am and will run until 1-2 pm.

We plan to do some trail riding fri, fri evening, sat evening and trail clean up on sun morning (Dutch John)

Please post up if you can attend, we would love to represent the broncos in a huge way!! Even if you cant bring a bronco, please come out...we've had all makes and models join us on the trails, we dont mind...just there to have a good time and enjoy some wheeling.

Count me in!!

I've been to the Jamboree before. It gets a big turn out and is very family-friendly. Bounce houses, 4x4 clubs, vendors, show and shine, ORV rides, usually a swap meet, and lots more.

It is an event for the people that like to 4 wheel as well as for those that want to show off a fresh restoration and shoot the breeze for the day. Don't miss it!!

I spoke with dougsride on here. Sounds like he is planning to attend!

Anyone else in the area? You are welcome to show up and hang out or wheel with us!

There are no fees associated with the Jamboree or our meet and greet. To ride the trails, you need to purchase a $5 pass per vehicle per day. Talk about some cheap entertainment! Several of the trails are very mild- 33" all terrains and open diffs will be fine unless it is muddy.

I have to work that weekend...plus I don't have a FUNCTIONAL bronco yet. When is your monthly get together down in the Holy City? I'll hitch hike down there if I can make it.

I don't think someone got shot, but there was a complaint or two about a 'ricochet' that was noted on the Sawmill trail, over a mile away.

They are really doing the shooting range up nicely. I figured it would have been torn down entirely.

On another note, 1 month away!!! Can't wait!
