Full family style cage kits for 1966-1977 Broncos For Sale.
Cages are bent, notched, and ready to install.
Bends are smooth and notches are nice.
Fits under a hard top or a soft top.
Cage easily weld together.
Built from 1 3/4" .120 wall HREW steel tubing, complete with base plates.
Bring your Bronco to one of our Missouri shops and we will custom fit and weld the cage to your Bronco. $1000 up front, hard top and dash pad removed, Bronco ready for install if you choose this option.
If you choose to fit and weld it yourself, kit form is $800.
Shipping is extra, most places in the US run about $150.
The cage will need to be attached to the frame for safety and maximum protection.
Price does not include paint or powder coating.
Grab handles are optional at three for $50.

No, every bronco is different. The suspension mounts and different heights of body lifts would make it almost impossible to make a one size fits all mount to tie it to the frame. Most people use a straight tube cut at an angle for the frame mounts. The people that will have the skills and tools to install a cage will most likely have the tools to cut tubing required... But most don't have the bender and notcher.

If the tube between the "B" pillars is placed at the floor, this will enhance the strength. The most the cage could push the body down would be the thickness of the body mount and body lift before hitting the frame. That's why we started including this tube with the kit. If you choose to tie it to the frame instead, you can raise it up like in the one pic to mount the shoulder harnesses to.

As David was saying, there are several variations depending on body lift or suspension design. Also, many Broncos are running rock sliders/skids in place of their rockers. A cage can easily attach to the sliders if they are welded to the frame (everyone builds their sliders different). The rear body mount area is often rotted out and many people insert a 2"x2" steel tube inside the body channel which greatly strengthens the rear of the body. Our cages can easily mount to that tube or a similar style.
We can supply additional mounting plates to match the cage if you choose. This would make attaching to the frame much easier whether you choose round or square tubing to attach to the frame. The tubing does not need to be bent to attach to the frame or sliders, only cut at an angle on the ends.

How is the headroom for two adults in the back seat?

It was designed to be comfortable for two adults seat belted in the stock rear seat location, yet still a slant shape. This is the purpose of the rear halo. Cages always have increased challenges getting in and out. We kept that in mind when designing these. Also works great if you need to buckle child seats in the back.
