I'm going to start gathering the parts to do my EFI conversion. I've done a search for a list of parts I will need but can't find a good complete list, anyone have one? Also, closest junkyard is 250 miles away so anyone have some parts they want to sell? Thanks for the help guys.

Here are some basic things you will need to collect.

Engine
1. Upper Intake
2. Lower Intake with heater hose piping
3. Throttle Body –usually attached to Upper Intake
4. Distributor
5. Fuel Rail
6. Injectors

Sensors(usually on engine or in donor)
1. TFI Module on Distributor
2. ACT Sensor (Air Charge Temp Sensor)
3. ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temp)
4. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
5. SPOUT connector with jumper
6. Variable Speed Sensor (VSS on MAF only)
7. Mass Air Flow Sensor (not on SD setups)
8. Barometric Pressure Sensor (MAP or BP depending on setup)
9. Idle Air Control (IAC)
10. Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensors (O2 Sensors)

Electronics
1. ECM (Speed Density/MAF)
2. Main wiring harness (ECM to engine bay)
3. Engine harness
4. O2 Sensor harness

Note: 2,3 and 4 are all included in RJM harness as one.

Assorted other items
1. O2 Sensors (2)
2. Heater Hose
3. E2000 External EFI Fuel Pump (high pressure)
4. Carter 4070 Electric Fuel Pump (low pressure)
5. 3/8” D.O.T Nylon Tubing 30’
6. Fuel Line Connector retainer clips
7. Motorcraft® high pressure Fuel Filter (2)
8. Bosch Type 30AMP relays
9. Bosch Type relay sockets
10. 4 socket blade fuse housing
11. Complete intake manifold gasket set (EFI vehicle)
12. Valve cover gasket set
13. Distributor Cap and Rotor
14. Weld in O2 sensor bungs or No-weld type
15. Harness Tape (not vinyl electrical tape)
16. Throttle Cable (I used Duff's, it fit perfectly and was worth the added cost)

Some of the electrical items are necessary if you intend to rework OEM harness. If you decide to go with the RJM harness that you get from the vendors, than you do not need a lot of the above.

Hope this helps. This is what I used, I am sure that there are other opinions.

Rich

I just did this conversion. I have an upper intake, B.C. adapter and lower for sale. PM me and we'll discuss it. I probably have some other parts you could use as well. Thanks, Jeff

Wow! That's a steal! Pretty much everything you need is right there! The parts are cleaned and look to be in decent shape.

Things that I don't see, and correct me if I'm wrong.

LP Fuel Pump
Fuel hose, fittings and filters
Throttle cable
Bolts for upper and lower
Plaque that says 5.8

Nice!!
