Anyone running any of these? Trying to figure out how they would look on my LUBR with a 32x9.5 or 235/85 tire

Heres another interesting set, little too modern I think:

Feel free to post any others that may look good. Max 8" wide

1 vote for each, great haha.

Im liking the Pro Comp La Paz wheels the best but the only issue is they are 8.5" wide. I'm gonna have to run a 9.50" tire to make sure these clear with my 3.5" SL and 1" BL

108mm center bore, 4.5" backspacing is perfect right?

The Ultras look really good but I think it would be a little too modern for an EB. Havent seen anyone running them yet. I was all set to get the Black Rock Yumas but came across the Pro Comps

Those are nice but 16". Id have to go down to a 31.5" tire(245/75/17). The 265/70/17 would be too wide

I agree on the Ultras. Im am very close to pulling the trigger on those Pro Comp La Paz 3029 wheels but gotta make sure I wont have any issues.

17x8.5" wheel, 4.5" backspacing, 4.25" bore with a 235/85/17. 3.5" SL and 1" BL

Right now my 31x10.50x7s have rubbed once when flexed. They have 3.76" of backspacing. I do still need to put 3 leafs back in the 11 pack though. So ill be raising it another inch or so and going with a 1.25" narrower tire but a 1.5" wider wheel. Im gonna push the axle back 1" and roll the fender lips as tight as I can but I think this is gonna work out. Anyone disagree?

Hey Jefe, check your pm. I run 265's right now and get just a little rib with 3" springs and 7° bushings. I'm going down to 255's like you mentioned. The 4.5 backspacing on 17x8 wheels and 265 tires just barely fit in uncut genders, hence me going down a width.

Oh nice, which tires are you going with?

So this is how it looks with 265/75/17s? Any body lift with that 3.5" suspension lift?

Im a little worried about the 4.5" backspacing with a 0 offset on the La Paz 3029 wheels. Plus the wheel being a half inch wider could make or break this...

Alright Ive narrowed this down. I finally spotted some Pro Comp La Paz wheels on a Tacoma locally and they just look too much like an offroad wheel that needs a 35" tire.

Decided to go with the Black Rock Yumas in the machined finish. Way more tire options in 17s but after watching the ICON bronco vid's I feel like 17" is too big. Not enough 15" tire options so im leaning towards the 16x8s. I want to run a 31-33" tire. So it looks like Ill have 2 main options:

265/75(31.6x10.4)
235/85(31.7x9.3)

And if I can find a deal on either of these:

255/85(33.1x10)
33x10.50/16

Lots more options in 17s though:

255/75(32.1x10)
255/80(33.1x10)
235/80(31.8X9.3)
245/75(31.5x9.7)
265/70(31.6x10.4)

main.php

Those are 285/70/17s but the black finish hides the size well. Plus I want a little more tire. 17s look best with 34-35" tires and 16s look best with 32-33" tires

I feel like machined wheels would look even bigger. Mine will sit about 1-2" lower than this one as well. Here is a 265/75/16:

I don't think they make a 235x85x17 or at least I havn't seen any listed, I know there is a 235x80x17 which will be the same size as a 235x85x16

The 235/85 I posted is a 16" tire. Doesnt appear ICON has ever run a 16" black rock due to their big brakes. Really wish I could find an EB with 16" Yuma's.

Just called 4wheelparts to order them and they have 1 in stock. 20% restocking fee if they don't fit. I'm gonna take the EB down there and make sure the 16x8 clears everything before ordering 3 more.

So far I like the Mickey Thompson Baja STZ tires the best:
