Installing the throttle cable, ready to cut but hesitating as I don't know whether to start with the pedal on the floor with wot or the opposite.
Stock pedal, lokar cable, mustang throttle body, pulling from the firewall.
My thoughts were if starting from the floor at wot you have a less of a chance of breaking anything when you mash the pedal.
After measuring there is only about 1 1/4 inch of travel, which would leave the pedal almost on the floor. Am I being paranoid, or is this set up strong enough to floor it with out breaking.
Any experienced input appreciated

I haven't broken mine yet!!!

Cut/mark the cable with the throttle body closed and the pedal up. Then check to make sure the throttle body will go WOT with the pedal on the floor.
