Too cool.
I work for a timber company that used to supply Hallmark with the majority of their fiber for Christmas cards. With that arrangement, we also provided the Christmas tree for Kansas City. They usually wanted a 95' Douglas fir for display and a 20' butt to cut into ornaments.
I was a tree climber at the time so I got brought in to climb the tree and set the crane rigging to lift the tree when it was being cut, then it was lowered to cut to length, then limbed up leaving about the top 20-30' of crown. Once cleaned up it was lowered into a special trailer. The long butt was lowered on to the deck below the tree, secured, then covered with all the limbs and more to make it a nice symmetrical appearance when reconstructed. Bundled and wrapped, it was sent off to Kansas City.
I received an ornament each time I was involved but never saw a Bronco one before.
