Wiring harness question

Hello, just got to the wiring harness install. I chose to get the Painless harness and have the instructions. At this point I have the dash out and just installed the ac evaporator from BC Broncos. My question is how have you routed the harness to the dash? If anyone has pics of the harness secured to the dash would be helpful. I have a 1976 and have three wiring holes to the engine compartment and have determined how these are routed but not sure about how the harness routes under the dash. Instructions from Painless does not address this route. I did do a search on wiring but only saw engine compartment routes. Any suggestions and pics of your installation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Paul

I haven't wired a bronco but the truck I did wire I didn't have the dash supporting the harness (not that it can't). from the fuse the wires go to each component with only the need slack to stay out of they way of anything moves and could pinch wires. Zip tie, tape or loom the wire groups as needed. I may be wrong but that's my experience.

I'm sure someone with bronco wiring exp will chim in and shed more light on the subject.
good luck

I did the Painless also. There is a ledge at the bottom of dash, I laid my harness on this ledge, and it is not going anywhere, feels plenty secure. Tie wrap here and there, and it is good to go. My 74 had one clip for the harness about half way of the entire length. Not much else to it, I don't think, just lay it on the ledge. Best picture I have, but thru the column hole, you can see the harness running on the ledge.

From the fuse box, the loom will run towards the drivers side, then turns back to the passenger side and runs past the glove box and through the firewall. You can see the 3 bundles coiled in picture. I used some insulated clamps mounted to the bottom of the dash to hold the loom on its return trip across the bottom of the dash.

There should be a few clamps that held the old harness to the dash. Route it the same way.
