windshield help

ive recently purchased new molding and glass for my 1977 bronco. Does any one know if there is a difference in the size of glass for the early bronco years? Especially the windshield? I purchased glass from a local auto glass store, and the molding from an online bronco retailer, the glass seems to be to smaller the molding allows. but all the new moldings fit on the origional glass for the other windows. So does any one know the actual dimensions for a 77 bronco windshield? Either the molding is wrong or the glass... The bronco is in another city and I was planning to go there to install the glass and bring it back.

From my experience the glass is the same size for all years.

No difference '66-'77 . Average size : 56 1/4 x 53 3/4 x 16 1/2
Bottom is wider than top .
