 I took a 77 Bronco in trade for my 91 Bronco from a nice wheelchair bound gentleman named Gene.

:) He wanted my 91 Eddie Bauer Edition Bronco very badly and everytime he saw me he asked me to sell it to him. Being on the island of Oahu how much resistance could I put up? He needed my Bronco and I was to find out that I needed his very, very crusty 1977 Bronco Sport.

:) We got together over a BBQ and he showed me his Olympic medals for Archery!! He is a really cool guys and like most bronco owners we became fast friends.

%) Orignally it was the hunter bronze/brown (?) color. I wanted to try out color schemes so I rattle canned the entire thing with a Duplicolor blue. What you see here is the attempt to figure out what I wanted to have as a final project. Painted it in a weekend.

What do you guys think?

These were the floors..tried to replace...yet the tub was a shambles...what a waste.

That is Brian. My local kindz bruddah from Aiea. Going back to pay 'im a visit shortly. He comes out and does car shows in Vegas once a year. I got get a picture w/o his head chopped off. :p

Looks good. But you have your hands full trying to keep the white bumpers clean and looking good.

The rig looks great! I really like the light fenders on dark paint. My monitor is not the best, but that paint looks great for coming out of a spray can.

If I were going to change anything, I might try painting the door inserts to match the Bronco and leave the doors white...

Either way it's a great looking truck!

I would like to see your buildup in one spot. I know you have a lot of work in it and would like to see.....

After returning to the mainland and knowing that I would be here for a couple of years. It was time to get started.

The blue rig looks nice but when we went to lift it...it broke into three pieces!!

My wife was kind enough to buy me this tub for our wedding anniversary. She also bought me a Hobart handler 135.

Think she's a keeper?

:-*

First order of business was to get some repairs done and some replacement panels welded in. This was my first time using a welder...what fun!

It was easier than I ever expected... :D

This is Don (tall), Erick Neasham and son (Em), Dave (in the back), . We are having a blast pulling things apart while the tub is going to the Sandblaster. It is amazing how many friends you make doing a project like this.

:D

Jack at Bridgwater's Auto Body in Tacoma, WA Sandblasted my 77 frame and Diffs. He then acid bathed and Epoxy painted them using DP8 just like new frames from factory.

Chuck at BC Broncos was awesome in getting me some CUSTOM 1" front progressive coils and matching National rear springs. Anthough they are higher than Seabiscuit's 3 1/2 go figure...needs to be broken in... ;D

Question. Are you still in Pierce County or Mason, cause if still in Pierce, then you have to pass emissions on that bad boy. Good luck with that if you do. ;D

Eric Neasham always there when u need a hand. He assited in the first mod we did the underbed stiffener that keeps the rear end from sagging.

After the blast.

After getting stress cracks welded up and ground down and the bad panels replaced it was time for the sandblaster (Jack) to do his thing.

By this point I had pieces and parts spread all over my garage. The tub was at my budd Don's house. I was going to rattle can it again. He persuaded me into letting him paint it if I supplied all the materials. What a guy!! :D
