The one in the first set of pics or the one in the second?sstlaure said:I like the grey blue. Take a look at Lapis Blue metallic (It's a Mazda color, it also goes under a different name for Ford products and it used on the 05 Mustang.) It's an incredible color and the metallic/pearl paints look great on the lines of the EB.

The beadlocks are far from simulated. It took me 3 days to get the tires on them because they are reversed rims. I'm not too big on the maroon either. It was basically given to me (thrown in with some other paint I had mixed) so I gave it a shot. I'm leaning more to the first blue because it is lighter and will help to hide the dents and dings that it inevitably will get. I think I want a little darker shade of grey though more like the second one.swa0330 said:I think that the first blue probably looks wierd because of the color on the simulated beadlocks. I like the two tone blue/green/grey in the second set the best. The maroon looks best to me as a solid not in the pattern in the second photo.

Thanks, Barby Pink hasn't even been considered. I use a rattle can for stuff like the bumpers and I'll use it on the rockers because they get scuffed up pretty bad on rocks but for the rest of the body I'll use automotive paint. I'll just make sure I get extra mixed up and choose a paint that doesn't need to cure for several days before I can work with it. Probably a Urethane Basecoat/Clearcoat this time.KJHill said:Yah, the last blue/gray looks sweet! I wanted to paint mine a blue on top w/ a dark gunmetal grey on the lower portion. But I ended up painting the whole thing blue, for now. The nice thing about rattle can paint jobs is that you can touch-up & change the colors anytime you want & on the cheap. SaddleUp, your rig would look killer even if it was Barby Pink!
