trail question for the goblin

Hey Gsquared,
Very cool bronco. I to think an uncut eb on the rocks is cool. Just wondering, those shots were at Crawford's rock pile, did you run any of the trails in Tellico and if so which ones. We are having the Fawl Crawl in Oct and are constantly trying to keep uncut rigs involved but the trails are getting progressively worse.
Thanks,
Karl Bradley

Trail Questions

If you click on the link of more pictures you can see action shots on trail. We hit the trails and headed up trail 1, to trail 5, then to trail 4 and up to SlickRock. As the day wound down, The Cheap Jeep and all the others had a great time going up SlickRock and then turning around and coming back down. I would say that if you want to run SlickRock in a stocker you better be prepared for some rock rash. I am also locked front and rear and would not recommend going their with out lockers. I also have rock rails to give me the ability to position my rig using rocks if neccessary.

Can you tell us more about your lift and tire size? That's impressive...

Uncut trail leader

Gsquared,
That is a great trail report. Since you have run slick rock with your rig maybe you could come to Fawl Crawl and help us out as a trail leader. Seeing an uncut rig on the trails should give some motivation to other ebs who are not on 36"+ tires and want to run the trails. Oct 22-23, link

Bronco Info

I am running a STOCK lift (thats right all orginal springs and leafs). I also have a 2 inch body lift. I am running 34 x 9.50 TSL swampers. I did have to do some very minor trimming around the bottom of the fenders. This trimming was only neccessary when I went to the swampers, because of the lugs sticking out so far. When I had 33 x 9.50 all terrains I had no problem with rubbing. I am running a spool front and rear. I have the stock size driveshaft with 1310 ujoints. I do also have 35 spline rear axles and cromoly front shafts with super joints. I did have to use the skinny pedal to make it up slickrock but I never pulled cable all weekend. The condidtions were very rare for tellico it was amazingly DRY. It had not rained in over 10 days. I would have run lower 2 on the second day but I ripped a brake line off at the end of day one.

These are pictures of Todd from alabama. As you can see in the pictures this is the top of SlickRock and it is very dry.

I saw you on I-85 Sunday. I was head south bound and got a quick look at a green Bronco be trailered going north bound. If it wasn't you, it was your Bronco's twin. I'm in Greenville, SC but spend a lot of time in Charlotte.

Yep, around 3:00. We'll have to get together some time. My girlfriend lives in Charlotte and I'm up there on a lot of weekends.

I watched it... twice. You were in there a couple of times real quick. Nice lookin rig man. Not as nice lookin as Jesse though ;) Ian is one lucky man getting to work next to that all day. I'd gladly trade the guys I work with for her ANY day. Something about a woman that can weld as well as wheel.... I think I'm in love....
