Well It's that time of year again, time for the 3rd annual run of broncos, big and small up holy cross.
The date is Aug. 20th seemed to work last year, and maybe this year we will stop having fun long enough to take pictures.
So if ya got an EB, Full Size, BroncII, bring them up. it's all good. and lets have some fun! ;D
We will leave for the trailhead at 8:30AM, we will meet on the road going to holy cross. more then likely some one will be camping.

Dang! Who picked the date? This is one of our favorite runs every year, but Kathy and I will be in Monterey, CA that weekend so won't be able to make it. :'( I really want to attempt Cleveland Rock with the new EFI motor and Atlas. Guess I'll have to do it another time without a bunch of other Broncos watching and filming.

David, if it's on the 20th we're there! ;D Not sure if we'll camp this year or if Kathy will win out, which would mean we'd stay at a B&B in Minturn. I suspect the latter... :p

You should also post this on CO4x4.org.

If I can get mine to run well enough I might be game. Last trip up (a few weeks ago to Wheeler lake with some full size boys) it ran great until coming down and the carb was loading up like crazy. I'm in the process of making some changes and might take it up in a couple weeks to James Peak / Kingston Peak area to see if it's working better (damn carb) My son might also bring his 79 along. Sure would like to play with some of the other Broncos around here.

Just got back from a vacation to see my family in Colo and we have decided to move back there and get out of (Arnold voice) "Kalifornia" We went through Pueblo, Royal Gorge, Leadville, Glenwood, and out through Grand Junction. Great trip again and I couldn't believe all of the EB's I saw. My Dad and brother live in Silt and I saw 3 EB's in town within a stones throw of each other. I will be watching the web sites and once we get out there I will most defiantly try to make some runs with you guys.
If you see a black primed EB, full cage and no hard top in the silt area in the next few months please wave or stop and say hi. ( I do the same every time I see someone driving an EB )

Wade, there are several of us in Grand Junction as well. When you get out here send me a PM and we can hook up for some wheeling.

For sure. I have been following your posts for a while now and read some of the suff about the trails in and around GJ so I was for sure going to look you up. We should be moving in about 3 months so I hope we are there to see some of the great fall colors. (and I can not wait to see a christmas with snow again) ;)

I'd love to go out there and meet you guys, but I have no way to tow my rig and driving it out there doesn't seem to appealing, especially with the possiblity of breakage.

I'm here! It really sounds like fun, since I've never run holy cross. It would be pretty cool to get into Bronco Driver!! The bronco is still for sale though, I just don't know if I want to risk bashing it up anymore  We'll see... maybe -E

I need to talk to the boss at home and see what our schedule is. I have never ran Holy Cross either and have always wanted to! Aug. 20th... and it would be great to meet the local EB's!!

If there are no objections, I'll anounce this run at the next Bronco Registry Of Northern Colorado meeting on July 11th. See if we can get some Broncos from north front range to attend.
