Well decided I wanted to at least have a bronco at this years stampede so here is my progress so far. Two weekends left going to be tight. Here is a few shots, before, new tub, spraying bedliner as an undercoating, stripped, painted, sprayed in bedliner, and built a tube core support and inner fenders.

Next weekend paint fenders and hood, new wiring harness and reassemble. ;D

Looks good, and I hope you make the stampede with it. I will be there with a bright yellow on 36" swampers.

Looks real good.
What was wrong with the old tub????
I'm fixing better tubs than that......wish you were a lot closer.....
Chris

It had tons of cancer. Fixable yes but new tub was $400 compared to new floor pans, door posts, striker post, rear bed, rear tubs etc. It is now rust free ;D

Good work. I like how you were able to undercoat the underside - wish I could have done that. Also like how your tube front is looking. I'd like to see more details on this as you progress. Good luck in finishing before the Stampede! :)

Looks good, when you gonna finish the 69 ;D Did you spray the liner at your house? I have a good compressor and guns but havent gotten up the balls to do any spraying of my own yet :( I really want to though.

Heh 69 huh. I forgot all those parts in the garage were actually a Bronco. Soon as I sell this 74 I will finish the 69. Hopefully by next years Stampede (although I have said that before, the last two stampedes) %)

Yes I did spray that at my house both the paint and the bedliner. ;D

Sweet. Its okay, until just recently my garage was almost the same jumble of parts, bodies here, frames there, shelves full of a mix of old and new parts, got one done though (figuratively speaking of coarse) so only half my garage is a disassembled Bronco. I dabbed in my liner, turned out fine but spraying always looks sooooo much nicer.

Tugre, Looking good. I hope you can get her done for the Stampede. Wish mine was together enough to even consider going to the Stampede.
Loving your front hoop there. Any chance you have some more pics?

I will make more progress this coming weekend. Is there anything you want pics of specifically?

Any pics of your core support hoop and the like would be great. If you would like you can either pm or email to kannon918@wildblue.net.
I am in the design stage for my front clip, so any details will be extremely helpfull. Thanks, Shortnfat

Little progress today. Not as much as I would have liked, but progress none the less. 3 Bronco work days to get it done for the stampede %)

  1. Primered the front fenders, hood, and grill
  2. Installed Wildhorses 1" Body Lift
  3. Installed the core support
  4. Installed Lokar shifter on the AOD
  5. Installed Twin Sticks
  6. Laid out wiring harness in prep for tomorrow.

I'm confussed. What was wrong with the grey on in the original pic? Looks like your coming along pretty good on eveything else. How did you know where to put and what measurements were right for the front clip tabs?
