Best Column replacement for an 88

Hey guys my Buddy's kid has an eighty eight and the steering column

Sorry guys. I hit send to quick on that before I was done using voice to text.
Does anybody know where the source of replacement steering column for a nineteen eighty eight. Or can I use an f one fifty column in its place.
Or is it best just to use an aftermarket column.

Best is subjective. The source of original columns is the local junkyards. Yes, F-series use the same 4 columns as Broncos from '80-91, so make sure you get the right kind.

Auto column will work on a manual but not the other way around. Drilling it out to rekey it is a PITA so get one with a key if you can. Tilt and non tilt use different turn signal switches so if you already have a working switch try to find the model of column that matches what you already have.
