Chebby Blower Motor Upgrade

I just did this upgrade and hooked the red wire to the spade terminal and nothing.I`m getting juice to the spade terminal.I took my test light and cliped it to ground and touched the case of the motor and my test light came on.Is this normal???Or do i have some serious troubles>>?????

You need to run a ground wire from the body of the motor to the metal part of the heater box, or some other good ground.
