I was doing some digging and found pics that i had linked to are no longer here, so I'm uploading them here for posterity. (I'm looking at how to change what I've got to incorporate a Bailie Bilt.)

and finally, some pics from the fresh FIRST paintjob. Dad had a gallon of Ford Red Tractor paint, but he didn't bother to tell me it needed hardener mixed in, so within a couple years, the paint was looking more like rust! Man, that red was BRIGHT!

I lost the very first pics we have of this Bronco. The front clip was rounded over like a '96 Taurus. The top was crushed in from the previous owner being upside down. Dad bought it for the power steering and C4, but I turned it into what it is today, shown in my avatar.

Love the look of this tilt front cap! I’ve looked at all the pics and have not been able to determine how it’s latched in the closed position. Do you happen to have a pic of the latch? Very much interested in seeing it.

It really doesn’t NEED latch, but you see the big hood pins attached to the front corners of the cowl assembly.

Went back and blew up pics and, yup, there they are! You say it really doesn’t need them, but how much would it/does it shake without the hood pins? I’m intrigued by the thought of making mine a “tilt front cap” bronco, but don’t think I have the fab skills to do that.

it rattles a bit even pinned down. when i redo it, ill have to find ways to quiet it down quite a bit.
