Plastic or steel? Or is there a way to clean out the one Ive got?

Local radiator shop should be able to clean them up for you. I'm taking mine in next week $70 to soak them as much as needed and patch any holes.

I have no desire to drive around with a 13 gallon tank. I bought the bcb 23 gallon and I'm adding the side aux tank, for when I really need to go distances.

Instead of the stock auxillary fuel tank you can have a fuel tank on each side of the frame. The left will be taller than the right but you will have three fuel tanks.
