Homemade Front Bumpers

I am about to begin a front bumper. Thinking of going with another piece of 2x6 but lay it flat, cut some sweeping angles into it. Used 2x6 for my rear, but used it vertical. Would love to see some home fabricated front bumpers, I need some ideas. I will run a winch on the front.

Thank You,
Brent

Here is something I built using 2x6 laying on 2x4 tubes coming out of my frame. You can't tell but the ends of the 2x4 is angled. Welded to the bottom edge of the 2x6 and over the ends of the 2x4s is 1/2 inch plate. Kinda heavy but it will take a lick from about anything

Here's mine I built out of 4x6 and tapered the ends. I dropped the winch down into the bumper.

Mine is 2x6x1/4 but it is vertical. I notched and bent it and then tapered the ends.
