i've been slowly putting a painless harness in my eb while i'm waiting for the engine to get finished up. i swapped out the little plastic tank with a 23 gallon bc broncos tank that has the low pressure pump mounted inside. the painless instructions talk about wiring in a relay if you want to run something with a constant draw like a fuel pump.

1. does a low pressure electric fuel pump draw enough that i can't just run an accessory wire to it?

2. if i need to wire in a relay, does anyone have a part number for a good relay that can handle the job?

3. if i run a relay, should i run the 12v constant source straight off the battery?

also, i've searched on here for underdash pics of wiring harnesses and didn't see anything. i'd really like to see how you guys secured the harness up under the dash.

if you get it from an electronic store eg: Radio Shack, make sure your relay handles at least 20-30amps current, otherwise the relay will have a short life.
