Humming under hood after engine shut off

New to the Bronco community. Just bought a 74 with a 351 Cleveland. After turning the engine off there is a slight "humming" noise coming from under the hood. It's a few hours after and it is still making that sound. Any ideas? Thanks.

Overflow bottle bubbling from coolant in the radiator blowing past a worn radiator cap.

Few hours? My guess is something electrical. Fuel pump not shutting off? If the battery isn't dead by now, try unhooking it and see if it stops. Or if it is dead, if it starts making the noise when hooked up to a battery charger/jumper cables (but don't try to start, just listen).

haha. i let my wife take it out last night and she turned the keys all the way left, pulled and the ignition starter switch came out with it. so....she just hung the keys back up. obviously the electrical is on, so i put the starter back in and turned it off.

Hah! Welcome to the sometimes interesting world of Broncos. Sounds like she's on board with the purchase, but hasn't been made aware of all it's little foibles yet either.

Should be fun finding out all about it.
Well, hopefully fun anyway!;)
