I agree on the rear main if the engine wasn't pulled/upside down/ newly installed/one-piece.
I still can't get a proper oil pan seal with the engine installed.
I've seen it done on eBs because of the frame NOT being under the oil pan. But on all my later trucks' V8s, and all those I work on locally, I always pull the engine for the pan gasket & timing cover gasket.
