TFI years and models WITH a flat tappet cam? What vehicles

I can safely say an '84 will have a flat tappet cam and was the first year for EEC-IV on a 302.
Even '85 will be a flat tappet TFI. The roller cam came out in '85 but was only available with Duraspark that year.
'86 the HOs were all roller TFI but the non-HO engines were flat tappet.
But I don't remember the last year for non-HO flat tappet. I think it was around '88 but not completely sure.

Thats a start had a roller version came with germlins when I was swapping the gear!

This work? dont know about the manual trans part or does it come with two gears one for flat tap one for roller?

That application list is horribly inaccurate.
There is no distinction between flat or roller tappets cams.
It even mixes intigral and remote TFI applications.
Fuel injected and 302 is about the only thing that application chart is good for.

Read the jegs item page what you think about W/manual trans and the drive gear part?

BTW have a new iron accel gear just wanna be 100% its gonna be happy with the efi swap, Ive gotta have a dizzy or anther 3 day weekend wasted with very lil efi swap progress.
