I'm not even 100% certain that I'm going to cut it off. It's so low on the list of priorities right now, I have a thousand other things to do. From finishing the ARB install to completing the painless wiring harness.
My buddy is really pushing me hard to scrub the axle with a wire toothbrush and paint it nicely, if I end up going to that extent I may end up removing it carefully and I'll set it aside. My general thought: is got a nice coating of grease to prevent it from rusting, but it would look nice all shiny and black.
