• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Take a flashlight and get on the ground. Check under carpet for rust, door posts, inner fenders and tailgate area. Check fluid levels. Look for leaks. Don't make your final decision on a leak though. That's what these things do when they sit for any time.

Look for signs of body work. Take it for a spin. If you decide to buy it ask if he has any parts that go with it (just in case, might be able to get a few parts you can sell off to offset the price).

If it runs good and looks as good as it does in the pics then I would say this is easily a $4500-5000 Bronco. Take your time and look for additions that bring it up another 1000 or so.

Take pics of anything you may have questions on and post them, especially since there's no pics from underneath.

I've looked at this one. It has rust in all the normal places you can't see the door posts for the inserts.

bn, Thank you for the advice! What kind of questions do you ask? I am not so good with questions. I go, I look, I drive, and stand there. Thinking. Wishing I was a guru. haha. Sorry.

I talked to him on the phone. He has had the rig about 5 weeks or so. He got it in a trade for a hot rod. Wants to go back to a hot rod. He says engine, transmission, 4wd all work well. Drives well. Heater cable is froze up. He has solid doors and well as inserts to go with a softop. PS/PB Discs on the front. I think he mention normal, minor rust. I cant think of anything else.

Is the rust bad enough that metal will have to be replaced? I talked to him today. He said he put the doors back on.
