FWIW, my 15x6 stock rims have '15x6' stamped on them. One rim had it on the inside (1st pic) and the other one had it on the outside (2nd pic). Often the stamp is covered in grime, but a power wash will usually reveal it.

As best I can tell with old eyes, it's about 10 & 13/16"+ at the transfer case end. So I'd say 11 inches. Mine is single exhaust so I had no issues with the pipes.

Did you ever get your measurement? I changed out the C4 in my 74 Sport for an AOD. I have a 1" body lift and did have to change the front shaft to 2" tube to clear the pan. If you still need a measurement I can get one tonight.
