got the solenoid prob fixed (it was just stuck) and replaced the neg batt cable while I was there and got the brakes to work better... after all the craigslist time suckers and tire kickers, I may end up keeping it... ;D

G, In my humble opinion, I don't think I'd like it angled with the center of the plate being where or near where it is. I think while the top would look good, the bottom would kick out and not look good. If it were higher so the bottom of the tire was closer to the bottom of the rear hatch...

I imagine they are made to accept pretty decent sized tires and if yours are smaller than the biggest size it was designed to carry, it'll stick out farther. If you don't anticipate going to a larger size tire in the future, I'd do whatever adjustments necessary to bring the weight of the...
