    IN 1970 Bronco Blue 347 4-Speed

Hi Everyone, --- Price reduced to $60,000 --- The Bring a Trailer auction for our '70 Bronco just ended without making reserve. The build is more of a resto-mod. It's probably easiest to view all the details on BaT. Here's the link: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-ford-bronco-146/...

Sounding Board - To Cut or Not

Hi Everyone, Thanks for the comments and compliments. My thinking was the same as fordguy's... you can't un-cut fenders. I decided to leave it alone and see how it works out. Jeff

Sounding Board - To Cut or Not

Hi Rveryone, I followed the LUBR path. The Bronco isn't perfect: but, it's something I can be proud of. It's listed on BaT... fingers crossed for a fair price (although that's subjective, I know). If it doesn't sell I'm looking forward to driving it more next spring. Thanks for all the...

Explorer rear disc swap for 9" big bearing

Hi Mark, Looking clean probably has a lot to do with being a 12+ year project with a whopping ~ 150 miles driven during that time period. Lol How are you? Jeff

Explorer rear disc swap for 9" big bearing

Hi Old-timer, Thanks for catching that! That makes a lot of sense. There are a lot of reasons why the saying about doing things yourself really applies to this Bronco. If nothing else I am learning a lot. I need to look through the parts I have for that lever. I'll report back. Jeff

Explorer rear disc swap for 9" big bearing

Hi ba123, You're right. Pictures sure help. Looking at the cables, the first thing I saw was that the driver side cable wasn't positioned in the sleeve on the bracket. (I inserted it in one of later pictures.) I am able pull the cable by pulling on the sleeve and operated the driver side...

Explorer rear disc swap for 9" big bearing

Hey Everyone, I am trying to get up to speed on checking/troubleshooting the parking brake setup on the '70. It has an Explorer disc conversion on it (according to the previous owner). It's already installed... I'm just not sure that it is correct. I was wondering, as was MisterPero, if maybe...

Moab Bronco Safari 2024 is on life support

Hi Everyone, I've been to a few Bronco Safaris. I thought Steve and Utah Bronco Club did a great job. There's a lot more work that goes into an event like that than most people understand. We've been coming to Labor Day Safari in Moab since 2011. We've gotten to know quite a few of the Red...

    Tailgate Rattle Fix?

Hi Guys, I took it for a drive this morning. The rattles are almost completely gone. Wow... what a difference. Thanks for the input. Jeff

    Tailgate Rattle Fix?

Hi Again, Both are installed. They really support the tailgate support links. I can't make them rattle. I will let you know later this week after a test drive with them installed. Thanks everyone, Jeff

    Tailgate Rattle Fix?

Hey Paul, Well... this is a first. I found the rubber silencers in the first place I looked. I think I'll run out and buy some lottery tickets now. lol I will look on the WH site... are these positioned about midway up the flange? There are actually two holes on each side. I haven't looked to...
