Mine's been on the marketplace for about a week now and it doesn't show up. I looked through all results - not there. By no means griping, just thought you would want to know something might be amiss.
The wife used it this summer to arrange a surprise meeting with an old Marine Corps buddy I hadn’t seen since 1992 so it ain’t all bad, but it isn’t for me.
I went to a body shop that had been in town for as long as I can remember. They had a bin of old stuff they don't really use anymore and sold me some out of it - reasonable. Good chance to chat them up about stuff too.
Have the DS II distributor with a late-70's GM ignition module mounted on a heat sink on the firewall. No trouble yet, small enough to carry a spare in the glove box, and easy to get to.
When I'm done being different I will go with the HEI based on the good reviews here.
I have a low-pressure frame mounted pump now and would like to keep using it. But when fuel injection time comes around I want the in-tank pump. I hate to regulate the high-pressure pump down - mainly because things like that never, ever seem to work out as easy as they should for me. Otherwise...
I would like to buy EFI at some point down the road, but I would like to get a 23-gallon tank soon.
Has anyone purchased the EFI-style tank and modified it (used tubing to delete the in-tank pump) to work with a normally aspirated engine?
TIA,
JL
I saw a 351 once that had a chirp/squeal until the clutch was pushed in and then it disappeared. Turned out to be the harmonic balancer rubbing. The thrust bearing in the engine was worn to the point when the clutch was pushed in it moved enough that the balancer no longer touched.
just food...
It was sitting with the auto cross participants. I didn't see it run, but there was a little original 427 cobra that was cleaning up.
I agree lots of Oxygen and scooters. Just word to the wise to take care of ourselves so we can keep enjoying these events
It may not have been the only Bronco there Saturday, but I looked around hard enough to spot this one even though it was hunkered down. Not many 4X4's at all but the wife fell in love with an old Commando-turned-crawler. Ugh.
