Set the roll bar down in the tub, not bolted in yet, but getting there and looking better.

Missed a whole weekend so trying to play catch up now. Let's see... spent some time tinkering with the steering column, rebuilt the gas pedal assembly with new pedal and components then installed it. Worked on fitting the radiator and fan shroud. Fan to shroud clearance was close, required...

Installed the heater box and the front dress on the engine. The heater box had a broken mounting stud, so to fix it I ground it down and drilled and tapped it, then threaded a bolt in with some JB weld and cut the head off. Cleaned the box up, gave it a little paint and bolted it in place. The...

Bolted the pedal box in along with the hydro boost/master cylinder assembly. Had to play around with shimming the bottom away from the bracket in order to clear the inner fender well due to the downward angle of this tub's firewall as compared to a factory tub. Also installed the throttle bell...

We had some nice weather here today so I pushed it outside to rinse all the dust off before I start bolting bits and pieces back on. The sun poked out from behind the clouds at that moment so I took the opportunity to capture some of that sparkle.

More little bits... So this tub does not have provisions built in for the upper pedal box mounting bolts, it just utilizes bolts through the cowl. Well, the previous builder had just made use of a crude strap, so I figured I'd make something a little thicker and larger to spread the load out...

And with that done it was on to other tasks. First off I gave my blast cabinet a much needed rehab and tune up.... full clean out, new gloves, consumables, media and viewing glass protector as well as a refresh of the vac system. Also cleaned out the small paint booth and replaced the filter...

Ok, some quick updates, right around tasker's visit I was working on fixing a few blemishes in the finish. While wet sanding to six the blemishes I ended up going through the yellow in a few spots, oops. Hard to tell in these pics compared to the light reflections but the spots are located in...
