    MSD ready-to-run Distributor wiring

As gr8 mentioned the Painless Harness has the wiring for your RTR distributor and they're labeled. I've been using the RTR for quite awhile on 2 different Broncos and haven't had any issues.

    Oil pressure sending unit question

Thanks Dirtdonk - ya a sender that's resistance adjustable would make things easier - along with a no maintainence Cardon / CV driveline joint - LOL

    Oil pressure sending unit question

Thanx for the repiles , all valid options . I was just wondering if the resistance of/in the sending unit can be changed by screwing in or out the threaded stud. I do have a " spare" sender I can experiment with but didn't want to mess it up if someone has already tried and it wasn't successful- LOL

    Oil pressure sending unit question

I've read the O.P. sending unit can be adjusted and also that it can't be adjusted. Hmm - is there a general concencensus on this ? More specifically I have a 60# sender that's listed for a 76 Bronco , can the SENDING UNIT be adjusted ( resistance ) to show a higher pressure reading on the...

    Robert Shaw Flowkooler Thermostat test?

I'll add my $29.99 worth - I've been running the R.S. T stats in both my Broncos for quite a while now and haven't had any issues with em , and if I ever do I'll replace those with more Robert Shaws. -- on a side note: if you're running a 351" Cleveland" the R.S. t stat is just about the only...

    Steering box rebuild or upgrade

I replaced my " inside the frame" box with a 4x4x2 and did a tie rod over at the same time.

    Problematic IVRs

Am I the only one having issues with Instrument Voltage regulators that don't work right out of the box or that work for 2-3 days then quit ? Has some Auto electrical engineer come up with a reliable alternative to these things other than a $800- $1000 instrument cluster ?

    Another fuel sending unit question

What type electric fuel pump -rotary vane or diaphragm ? Where is it located - at the rear by the tanks or close to the engine ? How far above or below the rear fuel tank is it mounted ? Does this happen more often when the tank is 1/2 full or less ? Rotary vane pumps don't "suck " well they...

    Bilstein shocks

Not sure if it actually matters but Bilstein says mount em with the "lettering " in the correct upright position - but that could just be so it's easier to read their logo/advertising - LOL

16" factory option Bronco steel wheels and tire options

Only as a matter of interest; in 1971 the {5} 6.50x16 tires on 16" wheels was an extra $68.70 -- and Base price in my area with the 302 ci was $4033.35 . I always laugh when the prices are quoted in cents vs $100 at a wack - LOL.

    timing troubles

I would say - it sounds like your timing chain jumped a tooth - except it looks like you checked the things that would indicate that.

    timing troubles

Are you using the cylinder closest to the radiator on the passenger side as the #1 cylinder?
