Loading up for Throwback 2026, anyone else?

They were never really back to back. There was at least a 4 day gap between them. That’s close to $1000 for lodging and food on top of what you spend for lodging during the events themselves. Most people picked one event or the other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m loaded up and rolling that way in a few minutes.

Aft Door Weatherstrip Won’t Stay Glued

Those frames are easy to bend in or out. Let the window down and open the door. Roll up a towel and put it over the top rear corner of the window frame. Then push the door in. It doesn’t take much to tweak them.

That a good news. Probably a bad wire in the light assembly itself. Glad you got it fixed!

I’m not too concerned about the 5.8 volts you see. I see the same on mine. It is hard to accurately test flasher units with a voltmeter since they require resistance from a bulb to function. The voltage fluctuates when you use a voltmeter with a flasher unit. That’s why i asked if the flasher...

I was going to suggest that but I would try to test the socket first. Just take out the bulb, turn on the turn signal, and if your multimeter has a probe touch the terminal inside the socket to check for voltage with the other lead on a good ground. You should see the same voltage you saw on the...

Was that with the flasher in place or with the jumper in place to replace it? Try the same test using the hazards rather than the turn signals. See if you get more voltage or the same amount. It could still be a ground issue or an issue in the bulb socket itself. A test light like Oldtimer...

Just to keep this thread going [emoji846] here are the troubleshooting tips from the ‘77 shop manual for one turn signal not working. First step is to test for power at the bulb socket, that means testing the green wire. No need to test the switch because only one turn signal bulb is not...

Another "My Blinker Isn't Working" Thread

I think what you are overlooking here is that the running lights and the turn signal are independent. The fact that the running light works means nothing. The wire for the running light is brown. The turn signal wire is green/white. They use different filaments in the bulb and are completely...

    Heat soak/ electric fan

He did but what I have found is that the part numbers it lists, such as CF-C7TA-M and CF-C6TA-U, are the stampings for 5 blade fans. I’m thinking they are listed as 7 blade in the MPC by mistake since they are 5 blades, and are the only fans listed there for a 67-70 with a V8. That doesn’t mean...

    Heat soak/ electric fan

A few years ago I tested about 5 different fans using an anemometer to measure airflow thru the grill. The 7 blade Ford flex fan had roughly 70% more airflow (cfm) at idle than all of the others. The one I have is part# CF-D4TA-8600-HA. I will see if I can find the thread were I posted the...
