My daughter and I are restoring a ‘74 Bronco together and this weekend we'll be painting our rollcage, dash board and fender flares to match our Wimbledon white seats. Does anyone have the paint code to match these seats?
Thanks!

Sweet, pictures are a must.

I just sprayed my dash with Wimbledon White from Dupli Color. I used their ford matching Wimbledon White.

Your seats are probably parchment and not Wimbledon I would think.

When I had my top repainted Wimbledon white, paint guy said best bet is to get whatever manufacture calls theirs that color, test spray a section to see which you want. I was shocked how buttery creamy yellow my white was, but as soon as it got close to grabber blue, it looked perfect.

I would think this to be the case as well. I know my '76 was this color combo. You can see the difference in the seat and top.

However, the PPG code for Wimbledon White in '67 an '76 and the other years I have indicate '8378'. I don't happen to have the '74, but I would venture to say it is the same.

I agree. My top was Wimbledon White but dash is Parchment satin. If you have an ash tray that matches the dash, pop it out and take it to an autobody paint store to confirm paint color.

I think of it this way for the Original Bronco white color from the factory.

The Interior white color was Parchment:
Seat Upholstery, Sport Upholstered Door Panels, Dash and Metal Door Panels were Satin finish

The Exterior white color was Wimbledon White (M) code:
Hard Top, Steel Wheels and Center of Grill for Base trucks

On this Wimbledon white subject. Was it ever one of the front grill optional colors for the actual Grill portion?

rquest3 is spot on. My original base Bronco has a Wimbledon White grill, and interior is parchment satin.

My base Bronco came with Dove Grey steel rims but Wimbledon White grill. My grill might have been painted on a Monday as the white outline is wavy in one spot and there is a factory paint run on the top corner. LOL

I think it's most likely a product of being done by hand. You might have to zoom in on the pictures but the red is wavy on my grill. I also have a spot that where the red got nicked pretty good and it seems that the entire grill was painted in the Wimbledon White first with the red done afterwards. Makes sense since there would be a plethora of body colors sharing the Wimbledon White grills.

Hi there, just looking through this thread as I am thinking about having my wheels painted white. The white wheels that I see on early Broncos (that I like) look like there is a hint of cream in them, and not really a bright white. In your photo here, yours seem to be if this cream-white variety. Am I right? If so I am confused by their being Wimbledon white, which I assumed was a much brighter white, such as that on the roof of my bronco or in say a Mustang GT350. Can you confirm that your wheels are a cream white and that they are in fact Wimbledon White?
