• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hello Fellas. I'd like one of these old 4X4X2 sector shaft braces if any of you have one laying around and would sell it to me,
Duffs used to carry them, but they have since stopped. Thanks

That's a brace for the stock box - they never made one for the 4x4x2 box. Confusing photo because I see 4 mounting bolts there.

What Todd said, and you shouldn't really need one for the 4x4x2 box they are quite a bit beefier.

Awesome, thanks guy! I'm tired of breaking stuff in the desert so I started over building everything as it breaks 😄. My last box ripped an ear off and sheared a bolt in half on 3 feathers trail. I welded 1/4" plate on both side of my new 4X4X2 box. Guess I'll call that good enough. I appreciate the knowledge guys!

Solo motorsports makes a Sector Shaft Double-Shear Adapter - I use one on my 72 Bronco racer with a 4x4x2 box. Stabilizes the lateral movement of the box, but it probably just moves the shock to the gears/top of the box.

Heres the adapter installed (older mockup photo), changed the nyloc on the sector shaft for a low profile one:
