WH Extreme Duty Output Assembly with VSS

I just installed the extreme duty output assembly on my Dana 20, but I’m a little confused on installing the VSS. I’m running Ford EFI with a Ron Francis wiring harness. My VSS is a sensor that was plugged into the old output assembly. The VSS is wired as part of the harness. The parts from WH appear to attach to the back of the speedometer.

Has anyone on here done this that might help me figure this out? The WH instructions are not very detailed.

or this one https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/early-bronco-extreme-dana-20-transfer-case-output-system

DM me an we can get it sorted out. Lots of options and questions to make sure you get what you need.

Neither one. I got the complete system, as I’m running Ford EFI and need VSS. Bought this one. https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/early-bronco-extreme-dana-20-output-system-assembled-with-speedo-parts.

You’ll need the Vss that goes to an atlas. Same as a Dana 300. Hopefully Wh has found some stock. I ended up ordering it from Dakota digital.

WH sold me a VSS that attaches to the back of the speedometer.
