Seen some bad footage of flooding down south....Praying every one makes out safe and can rebuild. The Bronco community is a tight knit one and I ask you take a moment to think of these fellow Classic peeps and everyone else effected....some devastation for sure

Thanks Randy. I have a sister in Georgia I haven't been able to get a response from after the storm. Probably Ok but you never know. Send prayers for everyone in the south, tuff times for all.

Thanks Tasker. Yeah it’s pretty bad in places. We were spared any major damage at our place but just a few miles away it is a disaster This is a shot of what was my brothers place in eastern TN. His place was next to the one under water

Got a kid up in Asheville. Just talked to her and she's close to freaking out. The place is a mess. And I mean bad. There's nothing I can do but her landlords are good God fearing people so that is a relief. Can't leave cause all the roads and highways are blocked or destroyed.

I got so disturbed when I saw the news; there were so many people killed by the hurricane, and on top of that, many were left homeless. It made me think that, yeah, as a society we are advancing and all that, but we are still as vulnerable as we were before. Is there a way to donate to help the people who had their homes flooded or destroyed?

A good friend of mine that lives here but has property near Asheville he intends to retire to talked to his neighbors there and they said his area got hit pretty hard. Luckily he has no buildings yet to be harmed but lots of downed trees.

I was interested in both the TN Tri Cities and Cocke Co before settling on Chat and both got hit hard from what I can tell. It appears it just missed Chat and my property from what I've read but I have no boots on the ground to give it to me straight.

I’m in North Fort Myers. I got a foot of water in my house , this after Ian that blessed me with 3 foot a few years ago. I was able to save most of our personal contents. I have removed the floors and the wet dry wall, you have to get the wood and dry it. Waiting for insurance adjuster. We will rebuild to sell.
As bad as it is, it’s nothing compared to the other devastation and loss of lives .

DAM you got it again??? UGH I cant imagine.

My parents place out on Pine Island appears to have been spared, water got high but not in the house. They had almost 3 ft of water in the house from Ian. Just got done rebuilding in the spring. They are going to sell this winter when they get down there. They just cant take it mentally or financially anymore.

My daughters boyfriend mom got over 3 ft of water in her house in Clear Water, she just sold her place in Maryland and has only been there for 6 months and was 2 blocks from the Gulf! Lost all her furniture and a lot of other stuff.
I feel the pain of everyone affected! Thought are with all of you!

I am sorry for all of your losses. Sometimes I regret living here, when it's miserable and cold 4-5 months a year. But I am thankful we don't have any major things like these storms.

I didn't do any TV or social media over the weekend. I had checked on my FL and GA peeps on Friday, which were all good. had no idea about the damage in the Carolina's and Tennesse until this morning  prayers for those folks for sure!

I read that a bunch of those rivers are the highest in recorded history. In my industry (brewery) a knock few of them washed away. So sad.

Still no power or water (on a well). Just got enough cell service to get back on here. Not in one of the hardest hit areas, (about 30 or so miles from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock - which were among favorite destinations in the Bronco). So many roads blocked from downed trees and power lines. Should have power back by Friday night.

Beyond heartbreaking for those who lost their lives and everything they had. The devastation to the areas affected by wind, rivers and floods - it will take years to recover. Keep praying for those folks - and all those in each state impacted by Helene. They’ll need all the support they can get.
