Nice!!! I drove my '22 Outer Banks to the gym this morning. It had been sitting for a few days and I'd forgotten how much I enjoy driving it. Enjoy!

Nice!

Was it marked down on Special, or did you just have to negotiate them down?

I've been watching the dealers in SoCal and haven't seen anything close to that kind of discount.

Rob, my sales guy told me people are driving from all over for the discounts here. I only “signed over” two rebates to the dealership for a total of $2000 on this truck. I bought my F350 from this dealership and they are NOT known generally as a big discount place, so these numbers did surprise me.

There is a dealership known for discounting due to volume in the area (not the one I used). There is a reputation for less than stellar service after the sale, but to be honest, I have never found myself doing business with them so I do not know the real truth there.

“My” dealer has always been good to me, I have done business with them multiple times.

So it has the dual top option. The hard top is on it and the soft top is in the cargo area. So I actually needed to find a spot for the soft top. Now I do have a beautiful, big barn, but the field mice find it irresistible in the winter! So I rearranged some stuff in the shipping container, and I was able to get it in there. Container is “brand new, single use” wind and water tight so I am comfortable I do not have any mouse concerns there.

This shows the barn:

I’ve got some seat time in the bronco, what a fun drive. So much depth of options still to explore/learn. I really like the Ford Pass app for simple stuff. Need to spend some time on the stored manual to better understand some of the options in the GOAT modes.

Did you drive the 2 Door and how do the two compare?
Rob, I did not drive the two door. I personally prefer the look of the four door and need the “easier” access to that seating area for the times I need to take aging parents anywhere, though my wife’s 4runner will still do the heavy lifting on that front. The two door was never on my purchasing radar.
